Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

Account data: name, phone number, email, and language preference. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, we receive your name, email, and an account identifier from them instead of setting a password.

Delivery data: pickup and drop-off locations (a map pin, not necessarily a street address), an entrance photo and notes where you provide them, recipient name and phone number, and parcel details you enter.

Courier location: while a courier is online or on an active delivery, we process their live GPS position to power matching, ETA, and live tracking. Client location is used only for the addresses you set on an order.

Payment data (couriers only): we never receive or store a full card number. Once card top-ups go live, they will run through a payment service provider and we will keep only a payment token and the card's last four digits. We do not take payment from clients, so clients have no payment data with us.

Device and usage data: app version and build, the IP address of your device and of your sign-ins, operating system version, which update of the app you are running, push notification token, and basic diagnostic logs.

2. Why we process it

To create your account and authenticate you (including sending the one-time code used to sign in); to match orders with couriers and calculate price; to provide live tracking and proof of delivery; to send order and status notifications; to bill couriers our fee, keep accounting and tax records, and prevent fraud; to respond to support requests and legal complaints; and to meet our regulatory obligations as a delivery platform.

3. Who we share it with

The courier assigned to your order (contact details needed to complete delivery); our SMS provider, to deliver the one-time code to your phone number; Google/Apple/Microsoft, if you choose to sign in with one of those accounts; Apple and Google, to deliver push notifications to your device; our cloud infrastructure providers, who store and transmit the data above on our behalf; and public authorities where required by law. Once card top-ups go live, our payment service provider will be added here for processing them. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Retention

We keep order and courier-fee-ledger records for as long as required by Montenegrin tax and accounting law. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a limited period afterward to resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights from the app (Account → Export data) or by writing to [email protected]. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

6. International transfers

Some of our processors (cloud hosting, SMS delivery, push notifications, and — once live — payments) may process data outside Montenegro, including within the EU. Where that happens, we require our processors to protect your data to a standard consistent with this policy.

7. Cookies

The website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function — for example, to remember your chosen language. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

Kurir.express is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be highlighted in the app or on this page.
